I have mentioned that I love to gift books to my kids for the holidays but I also love to gift books to my teenagers and adult friends and family.  Ulysses Press has a ton of great titles for older kids and adults that help them to explore their creative side.  They make great gifts that can be given as gifts or added to stockings or gift baskets.  Here are a few titles that I recently got.

Biscuit For Your Thoughts? by Andrew Darlow is a super cute little desk book.  Each page has a funny little quip on it and a super adorable picture of a puppy.  I have a teenager who loves dogs so this is a perfect book for her.  The pictures are so cute and funny, we had a blast looking through the pictures.  It’s great to gift for someone who works at a desk to display and it’s perfect for dog lovers.

Daily Zen Doodles 365 Tangled Doodles for Inspiration, Relaxation and Mindfulness by Meera Lee Patel is a great little book for people who love to doodle.  I love to bullet journal and I have a lot of friends who do also.  This title is great for improving my doddle skills. I do a lot in my journals but this is a fun desk book that features a fun doodle each day.  It’s a great way to unwind, relax, and it’s just fun.

Crafting with Wood Pallets Projects for Rustic Furniture, Decor, Art, Gifts and More by Becky Lamb is a super cool DIY book.  I love DIY projects and I love to make things like furniture and flipping things from old and worn out to something new.  This book is great for inspiration and gives you step-by-step instructions on a number of projects.  We are going to be redecorating my daughter’s room in January and plan to attempt one of these projects for her room.

Mason Jar Crafts DIY Projects for Adorable and Rustic Decor, Storage, Lighting, Gifts, and Much More by Lauren Elise Donaldson is a really fun crafting book.  I love to make gifts and DIY crafts for around the house.  This book gives you inspiration and step-by-step guides on how to create some really cute projects out of mason jars.  You can gift the book or gift something you made from the book.

Calming Dot to Dot by Emily Wallis takes the trendy world of coloring books for adults another step by including some very intricate dot to dot images.  You can relax and complete your dot to dot and then relax even more while coloring them.  The book is full of great images that you can create by connecting the dots.  Very cool.

The 1990s Coloring Book by James Grange is a really fun adult coloring book.  I love coloring I find it to be very relaxing and enjoy my coloring time.  I grew up in the 90’s so when I saw this 1990’s coloring book I had to have it.  Filled with images that will have your remembering the good old days.  So cute and makes a great gift for anyone who loves to color and grew up during this decade.

Coloring Dream Mandalas by Wendy Piersall is a great adult coloring book.  Full of mandala designs which are said to be the most relaxing of all the different styles of coloring design.  There are some really pretty images in the book.  If you have a friend or loved one that loves to color this book is great.  Great way to relax and unwind.

Don’t Quit Your Day Dream by Bethany Robertson has 20 Hand-Drawn cards you can tear out, color, and gift to friends and family. They are printed on some thick paper so they hold up well as cards, great for a gift idea.  They have some very pretty images that are really fun to color.  I love coloring to relax and unwind and this is a great way to share my images with loved ones.  Awesome book.
