Gift Some Reading Fun This Holiday Season w/ Quarto Knows

quarto1

As I have mentioned in other posts I absolutely loved books and so do my kiddos.  I love to gift books not just to my children but I love to gift them for the kids parties, as donations and friends and family.  The gift of reading is priceless and I love the excitement I see in the eyes of children when you give them a brand new book.  Quarto Knows is an awesome publishing company that has a huge assortment of books perfect for kiddos of all ages.  Her are a few titles I recently tried out from them.

Topsy Turvy Ocean is a beautiful book by Wes Magee and Tracey Tucker.  Award-winning poet Wes Magee’s fantastical and humourous rhyming text is vividly illustrated capturing strange and wonderful scenarios in each of the Topsy Turvy titles. My daughter loves the images and facts about animals.  We love the water so the ocean theme is a lot of fun.

ABC & Color Me is a great book for the creative kiddos.  My seven year old loves to get into my coloring books, she loves the designs and intricate images but I get a little frustrated because they cost so much plus I got them to color myself.  So I love this cute little book Valerie Cis.  It’s designed for children but has more intricate and creative layouts that are very much like the adult coloring books that she loves so much.  The book has writing, doodling, drawing, and coloring pages.  It’s a lot of fun and she loves it.

Art Quest: Modern Art Mayhem is a really fun book that explores modern art.  I love to introduce my children to classic arts and this is a fun way to do that.  The images and information in the book are fascinating.  Readers must use their problem-solving skills and artistic knowledge to navigate through fthis thrilling adventure.  it’s a fun way to introduce educational fun.

DIY Box Creations is a super fun book.  Do you have children who like to play with boxes?  My children love it.  This book gives you step by step plans to build fun creations out of boxes.  They are super fun and a great way to spur their creativity.  My daughter can spend all day playing with boxes, so this book is perfect for her.

Trace Your Hand & Draw Farm Animals is a really fun DIY art book.  My kiddo loves to draw and create art pieces.  This book gives you a tutorial on how to turn your hand tracings into fun and cute farm animals like a rabbit, cow, horse, chick and more.  They are so cute.  Pretty easy to follow, my seven year old had a lot of fun making her creations.  Pretty cool book.

Find Your Way In the Jungle & Find Your Way Under the Sea by Paul Boston are really fun and interactive books.  Each page of the book is map that you can use to navigate your way through the stories.  Each one is themed and includes a point system you use to make your way through the books.  Use clues to figure out where to go, earn bonus points, and more.  The illustrations are very cool and vibrant.  Lots of interactive reading in this one.
