Ok, so I have to admit that I have always wanted to be one of those moms who can make my kiddos home-made costumes for Halloween. The problem is that I can’t sew, well I can do basic things but not enough to make a costume. I recently found this great book called Superhero Sewing by Lane Huerta (Quarto Knows) that features really cute and easy to make costumes that would be perfect for Halloween.
The book has more than Superhero costumes, it features fun ideas for pirates, princess, and more. The projects are simple and easy to follow along with. They are simple or some are even no-sew projects. So even someone like me can easily make their kiddo a costume using this book. They even include full-size patterns in the book to use as you sew.
So if you are like me and have always wanted to attempt DIY Halloween costumes then check out this great book. It’s full of inspiration and ideas that are sure to help you re-create the perfect costume this year.
