There are always certain recipes that it seems like we only make in the Summer time. One of those on our Summer Bucket List is Strawberry Banana Jello Fluff. This is a recipe that my grandma always made for 4th of July and summer gatherings. We miss her so much and we missed her fluff so we decided to make some.
It’s really easy to make. It’s only a few ingredients but it tastes really good. I also made a version for my Nutrisystem friends. I love it so much I had to make a version that I could have.
Bananas (I used 2 cut into slices)
Cool Whip (half of a large tub)
Strawberry Jello (1 large box)
Bananas (1 used 1 cut into slices)
Sugar-Free Cool Whip (you will divide these into 4 servings and use 2 tablespoons per serving)
Sugar-Free Strawberry Jello (small box)
Prepare the Jello as directed on the box. For the sugar free version I put these into individual containers. For the small box of Jello you will divide it into four servings. For the regular version just leave it all in one large container. Cut up the bananas and add the slices to the Jello liquid. Put in the fridge to chill.
After about 2-3 hours check your Jello if it has started to set up then add your cool whip. For the regular just add it to the large bowl (half a large tub) and for the Sugar-free put two tablespoons in each serving. Stir until mixed well. Return to the fridge to finish setting.
One completely chilled enjoy. It is super yummy. I love that it is so light and fluffy. It’s perfect for summer events and gatherings. It’s always a must have at our 4th of July BBQ.
