We are gearing up for Back To School at our house! It’s time for school supplies, new clothes, new shoes, and of course new lunch supplies for the new school year. My favorite place to pick up the lunchbox must-haves for my kids is Russbe. They have everything you need all in one place. Plus they share a mission that we feel is important which is green living. I want my kids to take lunch with them so we can control what they have for lunch each day but I hate all the waste that is involved in packing their lunches.
With Russbe I can make the food for their lunches, so there is no wasteful packaging from snack companies. Then pack them in these great reusable sandwich bags from Russbe. They are so cute! They have a bunch of different styles. This year my daughter picked out some of these really cute monster patterns. These monsters look like they are eating your lunch but my 8-year-old thought they were just hysterical. My teenager loved this pretty blue clouds pattern. Whether you want something funny like the monsters or something simple like the blue ones they have you covered.
They are really easy to use. Just like a regular sandwich bag. You get two large sandwich size and two smaller snack sizes in each package. They are environmentally friendly, free of BPA, PVC, latex, and phthalates so no worries about them being harmful to your kiddos.
I love that I can buy one or two packages and reuse them over and over again all year long. Not only are they better for our environment but they save me a ton of money. Those other sandwich bags add up quickly when you are packing lunches every day. Just pack their lunches, rinse in out when they get home, and reuse the next day. So easy!
They even leave you a white box that you can write a quick note. Either mark them with what’s inside and the date you put it in there. Or I like to leave my kiddo a note each day. She loves reading them and it’s a fun way to wish her a good day.
Russbe also has some really nice containers that make perfect storage for snacks or small items for lunches. I love the triple stack snack bento. You can pack three different snacks in it and stack them on top of each other. At my daughter’s school, they get a snack time and lunch so these are great to stick inside her lunch bag so she can easily pull it out for snack time.
Each one is slightly bigger then the next one, so you can choose smaller snacks for the top, medium for the middle and bigger for the bottom. Each one has its own lid. So if there is ever a day that maybe I only have one or two things for her I can take it apart and just send the section or sections she needs. They snap together really easily so she can do it all on her own. They just click into place and turn a little to lock it. Completely safe for kiddos it’s free of BPA, PVC, latex, and phthalates too just like the sandwich bags. So it makes the perfect snack or lunch storage container.
It’s dishwasher and microwave safe as well. I love that I can just use it, wash it, and reuse it throughout the school year. I take this little guy on trips with us too. It’s really easy to travel with for snacks on the go. She can take her snacks in the car and everything is contained in one container.
My teenager is a little over the cute containers and bags. She would rather have a more simple bento box. Russbe has those too. In fact, I use these a lot for packing healthy lunches when I have lunch meetings or have to be away from the house for lunch. They are really nice and make packing a lunch super easy.
The lid is spill proof so I can easily pack things like soup and not have to worry about it leaking or spilling everywhere. The lid is really neat, you slide it out to remove it and then slide it into place to lock it. It’s a lot more secure than other bento boxes I have used in the past. This one has three compartments so I can pack an entire lunch in one container and then pop it in a lunch bag.
Comes with a vent so you can release any heat if you put hot foods in it. I love this bento box for hot lunches. It’s also free of BPA, PVC, latex, and phthalates too so no worries about that. You can put it in the microwave (not the lid) and dishwasher. Makes cleaning it super simple and easy. My daughter will use this almost daily once school starts back up. Much better to reuse than to buy containers that won’t hold up or she will have to replace every week.
As you can see Russbe is your go to source for lunch bag supplies. They have everything you will need this school year to keep your kiddos lunches eco-friendly and fun too.
