Nutrisystem Week 68 Update:
Weight Loss this Week: Not Sure Total Weight Loss: -169.6
My Nutrisystem Journey:
Oh, how I wanted this Nutrisystem update to be amazing. My last post sounded so motivating and like I really meant it. Too bad it didn’t translate to my actions. Does anyone else have this struggle? I start each day with the best intentions of getting back on track but by dinner time I am eating whatever I want. This is super frustrating to me. I have made up my mind that I am losing my mind.
I remember what it was like being 500 pounds and not being able to do anything but yet the risk of gaining the weight back hasn’t kept me from eating foods I shouldn’t. So this week I am working harder on finding my motivation. I spent all week reaching out to my Nutrisystem counselor and a registered dietician to figure out what I need to do to get myself back on track. I have a game plan and I know I can do it!
I put together three tips that I was given this week to get myself around this wall I’ve been stuck behind for the last few months. I need to get moving again!! I am ready to reach my goal and be healthy and that means making a lifestyle change. So I will be updating next week and it will be positive! I promise!
Tips & Tricks:
1. Re-Evaluate your Goals:
Make new goals if you need to but take some time to remember why you want to love the weight, why it is important to you, and what you need to do to get there. Write them down so you have a reminder of what you are working towards. Make sure to share them with close friends and family to help keep you accountable.
2. Clear the House:
My problem right now is that by dinnertime I am hungry and I go searching the kitchen for foods. Since I have kids in the home we have a kitchen full of unhealthy snacks that they bring in. This weekend we are clearing the house of bad and unhealthy foods. They have strict instructions not to bring anything in so I won’t have anything unhealthy to eat. We will be filling it back up with healthy snack options so they are handy when I need them.
3. Ask for Help:
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. I had to this week. I kept trying to do it on my own but I finally realized that I needed help. I spent a couple of days emailing back and forth with my Nutrisystem counselor and got lots of help from him. I also spoke to a dietician for some extra help for meals I have to make on my own. With all of the expert advice, I feel like I have a solid plan.
