Nutrisystem Week 66 Update:
Weight Loss this Week: Not Sure Total Weight Loss: -169.6
My Nutrisystem Journey:
So it’s been a few weeks since I’ve done one of these updates (some of you have noticed) and I really appreciate you reaching out to see how I’m doing. This update is going to be a little different than what I have been posting. I usually have some great tips for you and break it up into how I’m doing and an update with a tips and tricks section but this week I’m just going to face the music and update you on my progress instead.
So I can’t avoid it anymore I have been really struggling since January with sticking to my Nutrisystem program. It’s kind of like I hit a weight loss wall and it knocked me out. I will do well for a few weeks, then off the plan for a few weeks. So, of course, my weight loss has also been up and down. I will lose weight and then gain it back a few weeks later. It’s been very frustrating for me. However, also all my fault. I know what I’m doing wrong but just keep doing it. I think my biggest problem has been being out and more active has brought food into my life more.
When I first started Nutrisystem I was over 500 pounds so leaving the house was rare. I really only got out to go pick up my kids from school and even avoided that if I had someone else to do it for me. I was pretty much home bound all the time. In fact, I could go weeks without leaving the house if we had nothing going on. Mainly because leaving the house was really hard at my weight. So now that I have lost almost 170 pounds I have been able to get out of the house again. In fact, I have been on the go a lot lately.
When I was at home all day I could limit temptations. I only had Nutrisystem in the home and didn’t bring in foods that would tempt me. Now that I’m going out I am really struggling with the urge to eat out and grab snacks to keep my energy up when we are out shopping. So cheating has become a big issue. I’m not trying to make excuses but it has really been tough.
Since I’m a believer in showing the good and the bad I wanted to share my true journey with you guys. I started to slack off on writing my posts though when I started cheating on the program. So you can really tell the weeks I was not doing well and the week I was. So now it’s time to come clean and face the music!
I restarted my Nutrisystem program last week and I have done great all week long. I am proud of myself and I’m working hard to keep going. I’m looking at this as starting a new program. I took a break and now I’m starting again. I still have a lot to lose to reach my goal weight and I know I can do it with Nutrisystem.
So now that I have come clean about my lack of progress and why I plan to start blogging every week again whether it’s good or bad! I hope you guys are still with me and I would still love to hear from you all. Your support really helps me stick to it! I have heard so many awesome stories and I love hearing about your journeys as well.
