My Nutrisystem Journey:
Man you guys, the struggle is real lately. I don’t know what is wrong with me, I kind of feel like I am going insane. I will tell myself no more cheating on the Nutrisystem plan and be super committed all day long then dinner comes around and I want to eat everything in sight. Luckily I have not gained any weight back. This is actually a good thing because I wondered what it would be like once I go off the plan after hitting my goal weight. Now I know that I can eat regular food and maintain my weight. However, I am not at my goal weight, very far from my goal weight and not losing is not an option. I have tried so many things to get back on track too, so I’m feeling frustrated.
I plan to spend some time this week talking to my Nutrisystem counselor or ideas on how to get remotivated and keep losing. I seem to be treading water. I am loving all the energy I have and being able to go out and shop and have fun. The problem is that when I am out shopping and away from home I tend to want to grab what is easy which is eating out or fast food. The more active I am the hungrier I seem to be too. So I need to spend some time this week coming up with dinner solutions I can take on the go. I will be sure to share all of the tips and tricks as soon as I get something that works for me. On a lighter note spring is just around the corner. We just spent the last week under ice storms so I could not be happier that the weather is getting nicer and much warmer. I love spring it’s my favorite season and now that I have lost so much weight I know I’m going to enjoy it so much more this year. I am super excited to see what the new season brings. I was ordering my foods for this month and I made sure to order several of my favorites for spring. I decided this week I would share with you my favorite spring Nutrisystem foods!
Tips & Tricks:
When it comes to spring I love to get outdoors and spend time outside. We love to BBQ so we will be dusting off the BBQ this month for sure. When the family is having BBQ I don’t want to miss out on the fun so for Spring my favorites are things that I can enjoy and not feel like I’m missing out on any BBQ fun.
Some of my favorites from Nutrisystem is the hamburger, grilled chicken sandwich, and pulled pork. These are some of our favorite things to grill at home so I can order these and feel like I’m having the same thing as everyone else. They taste great and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything. Add veggies, a healthy sauce, and a healthy side for a great BBQ meal while sticking to your diet plan.
I also do a lot of snacking when we are entertaining or I’m getting a snack for the kids. My favorite sprint time snacks from Nutrisystem are the fudge bar and their brand new sweet and tangy meat sticks. The meat sticks are great because you can take them anywhere. These are going to be my new favorite I have a feeling when we are on the go. The fudge bars are great for those warm spring days when you want a cool yummy snack and they taste amazing!
