Nutrisystem Week 54 Update:
Weight Loss this Week: -0 Total Weight Loss: -161.0
My Nutrisystem Journey:
This week was tough for me. I don’t know about you guys but I have found that I hit a wall when eating healthy and I feel myself hitting that wall lately. It seems like the more I get out and want to do things I also want to eat out a lot and enjoy food again. So I have been trying to play a balanced game where I can enjoy my time with my family and be active as well as stick to my Nutrisystem plan. It has been pretty difficult.
The guilt of not having a good week always gets to me though. I have been feeling super guilty all week after having a bad weekend. I’ve learned to use that guilt though for good and use it to motivate me to do better instead of letting it get me down. Guilt is one of those emotions that you need to be careful of. It can be good and motivate you or it can be bad and cause you to fail so make sure to keep it in check.
So I did not lose any weight this week after my poor eating habits this past weekend. I have been working hard this week to get back on track and find ways to keep myself on the plan even when I am out over the weekend. One thing I have found that helps me is eating a breakfast that is hearty. Something that makes me feel really full. So I spent a lot of time this week putting together a list of hearty Nutrisystem breakfasts that will help me fill up in the mornings and stay on track all day. These are definitely ones I want to have on hand.
Tips & Tricks:
When it comes to staying on track with my Nutrisystem plan I have found that having a good healthy breakfast helps a lot. It gives me a good foundation for the entire day. Feeling full helps me to reduce snacking during the day and helps give me energy throughout the morning. I’m much less likely to cheat when I’ve had a good healthy breakfast. Plus, when I start the day out healthy then I don’t want to mess it up and starts me out in the right direction. So I put together a list of five of my favorite ones from Nutrisystem.
Cinnamon Roll: One of our best-rated breakfasts! Our customers love waking up to a piping hot pastry swirled with cinnamon and topped with a thick cream cheese frosting. This is a decadent morning treat that’s high in fiber and a good source of protein to fit right into your diet plan!
Cinnamon Streusel Muffin: Now this is the stuff breakfast was made of. Delight in every bite of your own personal pastry—a rich, soft vanilla coffee cake featuring real cinnamon throughout—it is the perfect way to start your day off strong. Whether you are a coffee cake enthusiast or a muffin fanatic, this breakfast hit is sure to satisfy.
Chocolate Chip Baked Bar: This on-the-go morning delight is so good, you’ll want to slow down and savor every bite. Sweet butter, brown sugar, and honey are folded into rolled oats for that home-style, soft-baked chew. For a burst of sweetness, hunks of real chocolate chips are stuffed inside. Breakfast doesn’t get much better!
Baked Blueberry Oatmeal: With just 11 simple, whole food ingredients and no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners, the real stars of this low-calorie breakfast shine through: whole grain rolled oats, wild blueberries and a touch of honey—baked to golden perfection. Plus, plenty of protein and fiber to help fill you up for a fast, easy breakfast.
Canadian Style Turkey Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Muffin: Our first diet friendly breakfast sandwich was so popular, we created a new variety—this time with fluffy egg whites, American cheese and Canadian-style turkey bacon. Start your morning with a fast, protein-focused breakfast, and have a great day.
