Nutrisystem Week 45 Update:
Weight Loss this Week: -.6 Total Weight Loss: -138.6
My Nutrisystem Journey:
So I made it through Thanksgiving without gaining any weight on my Nutrisystem program, but I also didn’t really lose any weight either. I think I should just be thankful I didn’t gain because I definitely ate things I shouldn’t have on Thursday and Friday. I had a good weekend though which seems to have evened things out. I really seem to be stuck and have not lost much over the last 3 weeks. It’s starting to get very frustrating. I am so close to my 150-pound goal and seem to just be stuck and not moving. So I am having a lot of frustration this week.
I am to blame for the lack of progress, I have been very lax on my diet plan and have eaten out a lot lately. So I know what I am doing wrong but can’t seem to stop myself in the moment. It’s after the fact that I seem to feel guilty and bad about the bad choices. I have this big goal I want to meet and I feel like I am self-sabotaging which is something I tend to do a lot of. I am really working hard this week to incorporate some things that will help me get back on track.
I have decided it’s time to recommit to my plan and work really hard for the next four weeks to reach my goal. I know the number on the scale shouldn’t be my biggest concern but I really want to reach this goal for the year. I am going to reconnect with why I started this program and why I want to lose the weight so I can finish up the year on track.
Tips and Tricks:
To get myself back on track I am evaluating ways to get unstuck in my progress. I have lost very little over the last three weeks and I need to figure out what will work to get me back on track and losing again so I can reach my year-end goal.
Tip 1- Start Measuring Everything:
One thing I noticed this week was that I have gotten very kind with my measurements on servings. I tend to think I know how much I get and have stopped measuring things which I was very strict about in the beginning. I occurred to me that I may be getting some unintended calories from having larger portions then I should. So I am going to start measuring everything again to make sure I am sticking to the plan.
Tip 2- Journal Everything:
I have also really slacked off on journaling. I notice when I eat things I shouldn’t I’m not writing them down. Making myself write down and log all the bad foods too will help me see it immediately and feel the emotions like guilt that may keep me from eating it in the first place. So I will be logging all my foods (good or bad) as I eat them throughout the day to keep myself on track and accountable.
Tip 3- Get Advise:
Sometimes making some changes in your diet plan can jumpstart your weight loss. I am going to speak to my counselor at Nutrisystem this week about whether I need to make some changes to help me get myself back on track. I know sometimes doing a Jumpstart week can help your body start losing again. Make sure to check with a counselor or doctor though to make sure it’s safe to make changes before you do.
Hope these tips help, what are your tips for getting unstuck?
