Nutrisystem Week 36 Update:
Weight Loss this Week: -5.0 Total Weight Loss: -119.6
I just wrapped up my 9th month on Nutrisystem. I can’t believe all that I have accomplished on the program so far. I will be starting out on a new quarter with Nutrisystem, this will take me to the one-year mark of the program. So as I enter into my next journey with Nutrisystem I wanted to take some time to reflect on what I have accomplished and set goals for the next quarter. It really helps me to write these goals down. It helps me stay accountable and drive for success.
My Nutrisystem Journey:
Wow, this has been a huge journey for me. I can’t believe it has been nine months already. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was sitting in my bathroom on the first day I start Nutrisystem crying over what the scale read and scared if I could do this program. That first few week on Nutrisystem were scary and exciting all at the same time. I wasn’t sure if I could do it and I wasn’t sure if it would work for me. Luckily though I found that yes I can do it and yes it does work for me.
So far I have lost 119 pounds on Nutrisystem in only nine months. If you had told me back on that first day that in nine months I would have dropped that much weight and feel as good as I do right now I probably wouldn’t have believed you. It seems impossible when you have so much to lose, but I can honestly say that it is possible. If I can do it, anyone can do it. The Nutrisystem program has really helped me to learn about portion control, incorporating healthy snacks and foods into my diet, and how to make good choices about the foods I eat. I don’t think I could have done this without Nutrisystem teaching me these basic skills to turn my life around. I am very thankful for the program.
Not only have I lost weight, which is awesome. I have also made huge strides in my health. I feel better every day. My blood pressure has improved, I am not longer on the verge of being diabetic, and I can do way more than I could in the past. It really has given me my life back little by little. I still have a long ways to go but I am getting better every day. So now it’s time to look toward the next quarter and what I want to accomplish.
Setting New Goals:
As I start out in a new quarter headed to my one-year anniversary I have a few goals I would like to accomplish. First of all, I like to set a weight-related goal. Yes, I know that the number should not better but it does matter to me when it comes to seeing my progress. So I would like to lose 30 pounds (or 10 pounds each month). That should put me right at 150 pounds in one year which would be beyond anything I ever dreamed to accomplish on this journey. Secondly, I want to continue to improve my blood pressure. My ultimate goal is to be off my medicine but for now, I would like to see normal numbers every day for the next 3 months. Finally, I want to be more active. I would like to be able to get out more, do more with my family, and enjoy life more.
I will be focusing on these goals each week. I hope to achieve them all by Christmas! Of course, this journey is ongoing because it’s more about a lifestyle change than dieting. So we will see what all we accomplish. At the end of this quarter I will be doing a big year in review post and reflecting on eveerything I have accomplished so check back and see how I do. I love the support I get from those who read my blog. I get a ton of support from friends and family but seeing that there are people out there I don’t even know who care how I am doing is so motivating. I appreciate you all.
What are you goals for fall? For this new season of change? Let me know in the comments would love to support you all like you support me!
