Nutrisystem Week 28 Update:
Weight Loss this Week: -4.4 Total Weight Loss: -98.4
This week I am shaking off the negativity and getting myself motivated to keep losing. I am so close to my 100-pound goal and I’m striving to get there. I am feeling renewed with motivation and trying to stay focused on my overall goals. I think I have discovered that I am impatient. You know that feeling when you are so close to something you really want but you are just not quite there yet. That’s how I was feeling last week with my 100-pounds. I can’t wait to get over that hump. This week I am sharing some of my favorite foods from Nutrisystem and focusing on what I love about the program.
My Nutrisystem Journey:
I hope I wasn’t too negative last week. I think we all have those moments when we just feel frustrated. When I have those moments it can go one of two ways. I can let it discourage me and affect my progress or I can use it as motivation which is what I am trying hard to do this week. I got some great support and words of encouragement from Nutrisystem this week so that was very helpful in helping me find my motivation. I love the support the program offers, they really have helped me when things get frustrating.
This week I am finding my motivation and working hard to push to my 100-pound goal. I am so close. It’s funny that when I am so close it seems so far away. I am really hoping to get there in the next week or so. It will be a huge accomplishment for me. If you had told me when I started this that I would lose 100 pounds I would have never believed you so I can’t believe I am this close already. The Nutrisystem plan has been so easy for me to follow that I don’t really feel like I am even dieting most of the time. I feel like I have just changed the way I eat and I can still enjoy foods just in a different way. So the entire process has made it really easy.
One thing that makes it so easy is that the Nutrisystem food tastes great. There is so much variety that it makes it easy to not feel deprived of foods I love. Sometimes I feel like I eat so many great things on Nutrisystem that it’s better than when I cooked everything. They have great healthy options in the perfect portioned sizes that I don’t even have to think about it. I can just grab a yummy meal and enjoy and lose weight in the process. I love their food so much I decided to put together a list of my three favorites for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack.
Tips & Tricks:
I am a big fan of the Nutrisystem muffins. Here is a little trick heat them up for about 10-15 seconds they are a game-changer. So good. My favorite is the cinnamon streusel muffin but the double chocolate is pretty close. If I am wanting a bigger breakfast the buttermilk waffles are great with some sugar-free syrup and fruit.
I am more of an on the go person for lunch. I usually just want to skip it but know I need to eat to keep my motabolism working and my blood sugar regulated. So I love the bars. Trail mix is probably my favorite but they are all good. Another quick and easy one is the BBQ pulled pork, just add it to a wheat roll. If I want a bigger lunch the grilled chicken sandwich is the best with some low-fat mayo.
Dinner is probably when I am the hungriest so I like to choose something that is substantial. I love the black bean polenta enchiladas, I add some salsa to mine usually and it tastes great. I love the pizzas, they have a few different ones but the turkey pepperoni and Italian sausage is my favorite. Finally, if I really want something filling I love the turkey and stuffing meal. It’s like Thanksgiving in a box. So yummy.
I love the Nutrisystem snacks, they are amazing. I have not found a snack I didn’t like yet. The ice cream is my favorite though, in fact, that’s usually all I order is ice cream each month. I love the ice cream sandwich the most but the chocolate brownie sundae cup is amazing as well. If you like salty and sweet the chocolate covered pretzels are the best.
With all these great foods it’s hard to not love the Nutrisystem program. I love how much I get to eat, that the foods taste great, and I feel full and happy after each meal. Nutrisystem has made losing weight easy for me.
