Nutrisystem Week 24 Update:
Weight Loss this Week: -4.8 Total Weight Loss: -85.2
Finishing up my 6 months strong! I can’t believe how quickly this weight has come off. Nutrisystem has been a huge blessing in my life for the last 6 months and I really hope to continue my success with them. This week I’m reflecting on my progress and put together a list of some of my favorite resources in my weight loss journey.
My Nutrisystem Journey:
I have really enjoyed my Nutrisystem journey of the last 6 months. Honestly, if you had told me I would be saying that I enjoyed a diet program I would have thought you were crazy. But I can truly say that I have loved the program and loved the process. No only do I look better and lost weight but I feel so much better and I am enjoying life again because of this program. Nutrisystem is giving me my life back and I can’t be more thankful for that.
When I started the program I could barely walk, only about 5 minutes or so and I was getting tired and winded and needed to sit down. I was having lots of problems with blood sugar and blood pressure. I was missing out on my kids events and going out with my husband. I just wanted to stay at home. It was really sad and difficult for me to accept that I had to make changes in my life but with the help of Nutrisystem, I have done that.
Now I am down over 80 pounds and I feel 100 times better. I can walk more, still working on this though. I want to go out more and be involved in family activities. My doctor is beyond happy with my blood pressure and blood sugar. At my last visit she said my blood sugar was normal again and my blood pressure was looking much better than it has in years. I plan to keep going as well. I have a long ways to go before I reach my goal but I know I can get there with Nutrisystem. It has worked better for me then any other program I have tried.
Tips & Tricks:
If you have read my weekly posts then you may have noticed that I like to read a lot. I find a lot of information that I can apply to my Nutrisystem program and love learning new information. My it’s my past and all those hours of reading research in school but I love to take a look at new weight loss research and information. I decided I wanted to put together a small list of some articles I have really enjoyed as resources.
As many of you know I love the Numi app from Nutrisystem. It’s way more than just a tracker. It has so many articles, recipes, and resources in there and they are adding stuff all the time. If you are on Nutrisystem and haven’t checked it out then you should consider it. They recently put up a new BBQ recipe list that is perfect for the 4th of July holiday coming up. I saw they were doing a new challenge which I really like, I find them so motivating, and I love their success stories, they are so inspirational.
I recently read a great article from BodyNutrition.org on how to lose belly fat. They have some really great tips that I found really helpful. They work for any program really. They fit in line with my Nutrisystem program and gave me some great tips and ideas on how to make the most of my flex meals and improve on the program that is working so well already. It’s a great resource if you are just starting out.
I was recently told my doctor to look into getting a great probiotic to add to my diet plan. I found a great resource from healthtrends.com on how to find the best probiotic. I really didn’t know what they were so I learned a lot from this article. They go over all the benefits and how to find the best one for you. I found it to be a great resource.
