Nutrisystem Week 13 Update:
Weekly Weight Loss: -4.2 Total Weight Loss: 48.2
Starting out on a new three month commitment to my health and Nutrisystem. I can’t be more in love with this program. I can eat great foods and still lose weight. I am so proud of my weight loss so far and excited to keep work on my goals. There are definitely days that I struggle with motivation. I am really working on my motivation this week and identifying the ways to keep myself on track.
My Nutrisystem Story:
We had Easter this week and we decided to host the family meal this year. I thought this would be a huge challenge for me because I love to cook and I love to eat. However I was surprised that it really wasn’t a big challenge at all. I made the meal, cooked everything, I added some things that I knew I could have on my plan and I stuck to my diet. I was able to get through the holiday without cheating and even had a really great weight loss week losing over 4 pounds this week. I am super proud of myself.
As I progress through this diet plan I feel like it is becoming more of a lifestyle and less of a diet. During our Easter dinner it didn’t even occur to me to cheat or to have dessert, no cravings. I knew what I could have on my flex meal and I stuck to it. In fact ended up not finishing because I was full. I thought it would bother me but it really didn’t. It’s so neat to see myself losing weight and not struggling with the process. Really helps me believe that I can be successful on this program long term. Now I will be honest it has taken me a few months to get to this point and there are still days that I have issues but overall I am really happy with how I feel and how easy it has become for me.
One thing I love about Nutrisystem is that it has some great resources that help to keep me motivated. When I am struggling with motivation I can look within the program to find inspiration to keep going. I love that the program is more then just a diet, they have provided me with enough resources to stay on the program and be successful as well. Because really, weight loss is more then just dieting, it’s a frame of mind too.

Nutrisystem has several great resources that really help to keep me motivated on the system. I thought it would be a great idea to share what I use to stay on top of my weight loss.
Numi App:
I find the Numi app to be so helpful in my weight loss process. Maybe it is just me but there is something gratifying about checking things off a list. I see the daily tracker on the Numi app as a big checklist. Each day it is so exciting to look back at the day and see that I accomplished everything. I ate healthy for all my meals, I had all my water, and I exercised. It keep me accountable too because if I think about eating something bad I just think about having to log it in the tracker and I don’t want to have to put that on my daily list of foods.
Numi Challenges:
Also part of the Numi app they have built in some challenges. Every couple of weeks they come up with a new challenge and if you complete it you get a reward. I am a competitive person so these challenges really speak to me. I get so focused on completing the challenges that it really keeps me motivated to stay on track. The challenges are designed around doing well on the program like tracking your food for 7 days in a row or recently we did track your food, water, and exercise for so many days. If you accomplish it then you get a discount on a purchase, or one time they gave us a free water bottle. It’s a lot of fun and really helpful.
Inspirational Stories:
One thing I love about Nutrisystem is seeing everyone that has been successful on the program. There are so many success stories out there that are so exciting to read and hear about. They are everywhere, you can find them on the app, the site, on their commercials, and reading other blogs. When I’m struggling I like to seek out some success stories to keep me motivated. Even when I’m not struggling I love to read about how others are doing well on the program, it keeps me excited about it. I hope to be there myself one day.
Counselors:
If you have read some of my other posts about Nutrisystem you may have heard me mention the counselors before. I love my counselor support. If I have any questions then all I have to do is shoot and email to my counselor who has lots of ideas and suggestions. When I have struggled then I find all kinds of support from the staff at Nutrisystem. It’s amazing to me how dedicated they are to keeping me motivated and successful.
