My Nutrisystem Journey:
I am still going strong on my restart of the Nutrisystem program. I have had some frustration with only losing two pounds the last two weeks but making progress is better than gaining. I think we all probably want to see five or six pounds come off every week but it’s better to have a consistent loss each week then to worry about the amount. Since I have restarted I’ve lost 16 pounds which is really exciting. I can’t wait to be back where I was before I got off track. My goal for this month was 20 pounds, I’m not sure if I’ll make it but I’m trying really hard and I’m proud of myself for sticking to the diet plan all month.
Now that we are back to school I’m really enjoying having a consistent schedule again. The routine has really helped me stick to my Nutrisystem program easier and made getting back on track a more simple process. I recently spoke to a follower on my journey who was struggling with the same problem and her suggestion was to start every day with a positive attitude that you will be successful. I really like this idea so I’ve been spending time during my breakfast time to reflect on something positive. I have been looking up a positive affirmation each morning and journaling my thoughts and how it applies to my journey. This process has really helped me stay positive throughout the day even when I get frustrated. Thank you so much for sharing your tips with me, I’m always trying new things.
Speaking of breakfast I’m always super excited when Nutrisystem releases new foods and they have recently given us three new breakfast items. So as I reflect on positive thoughts I am enjoying the new breakfast foods and they are all three really yummy! It’s always good to have variety so new foods are a great way to change it up.
