The Nocturnals is a critically acclaimed middle-grade series for readers who love animals, adventure, and a hint of mystery. The books combine adventure, mystery, and imagination with real-life scenarios that are relatable to elementary and middle-grade school children, particularly regarding the topics of bullying, confidence, friendship, self-acceptance, and empathy. The scenarios in the books are perfect ways for parents to segue into those sensitive topics with their young ones. There is one specific scenario, in one of the books, where one of the main characters feels like an outcast because of how she looks. This one hits home for a lot of middle graders.
Fabled Films Press launched a new early reader, The Moonlight Meeting, to bring the experience to younger children, ages 5-7. It’s also supported by educational, fun, and easily printable activities (coloring pages, crafts, science cards, story map, and more). The activities are a unique way to engage children, spark creativity, and get them passionate about reading at an early age. Book two of the early reader series, The Slithery Shakedown, will be published in April.
