We are in full swing of summer and we are filling our days with lots of fun activities. Now I am first to admit that I am not one of those perfect moms who have perfect crafts and days with activity after activity but I do want to keep my kids happy and activity throughout the summer. I don’t want them sitting in front of the TV or video games all day so we put together a Summer bucket list full of fun activities that are designed to get us out and active. Most of them are free or things you can do with what you have around the house. My daughter is a huge fan of dressing up. She has a ton of dress up clothes for both herself and her dolls. So it was a no-brainer to have a fun dress up day. I recently found a great little company called Little Adventures that has really cute and fun dress up clothes for both your kiddos and their dolls. They have everything from all their favorite princesses to mythical creatures, and much much more.
All Your Favorite Princesses:
My daughter is really into all the different Princesses, she’s a super fan. So when we went to pick out some fun dress up clothes at Little Adventures, of course, she had to check out the princess outfits. She fell in love with the Arabian Princess outfit. It’s so cute. She had a blast pretending she was a princess all day long today. The quality of the clothing was really nice, I kind of expected something like a Halloween costume but it was much better quality. The materials were durable and strong and real fabrics.
They have so many different princesses to choose from on the site. They seem to have them all. It was really hard for her to pick just one. All the dresses come in either small (1-3 years), medium (3-5 years), large (5-7 years), or X-Large (7-9 years). The best part is they have matching doll dresses to go with all the child dresses. So you can dress up your baby doll too.
Dress Up Your Best Friend Too:
My daughter drags her doll around with her everywhere she goes so it was obvious if we were going to have a dress up day then we had to have an outfit for her doll too. She originally wanted the Polynesian dress for herself as well but they were sold out so she chose one for her doll instead. It’s adorable. Same great quality as the children’s clothing. It even came with a super cute hair clip to do her hair. They are designed to fit an 18-inch doll.
Bring on the Adventure:
Not only do they have all the princesses they also have a line of adventure dress up clothing. They have things like superheroes, knights, and dragons, and boy themed dress up. My daughter is a huge fan of dragons so when she saw the dragon cloaks she had to have one. Especially when she saw the pink sparkly one. They are adorable, so cute. They are really well made, they are sewn well (even the horns on the back are really well attached). She had so much fun running around yard pretending to fly and breath fire.
It’s a great way to get the boys involved in dress up too. I think that dress up can be considered a girl thing for some but it really shouldn’t be. They have outfits for everyone on Little Adventures.
