Since it is almost spring I have been on the lookout for some fun outdoor toys and activities for my daughter. We are so ready to get outdoors and play in the sun. I recently found these super cute my first Flybar Stilts. They are so much fun. They kind of remind me of a toy I had when I was a kid they had the strings but instead of foam blocks they were plastic cup shaped pieces that you stood on. The problem with those is the plastic was weak and always broke shortly after you got them. These stilts from Flybar are made out of a super durable foam that holds up really well. They even make a squeak sound when you stand on them. They are a lot of fun and prepare them for more advanced stilts in the future or if you don’t have a stilt lover then they also help with balance.
My seven year old had a blast with these. She has been playing with them since we got them. She walks all over the yard and even in the house with them. It’s actually a great workout for them, you really have to engage your core to stay balanced and not fall off of them. You also have to coordinate lifting the leg and pulling up on the strings, moving the blocks, all in one motion. It’s harder then it looks. She has been improving her balance and coordination all while having fun.
They make great gifts for the spring or summer. Something to get them outside and moving. Would be perfect to add to an Easter basket as well. I love giving my kids games and toys that get them up and moving in their basket rather then all unhealthy candy.
