Who Would Enjoy This Game:
Bottle Flip is designed for ages 9 and older and 2-6 players. If you like challenging games that test your skill level and abilities this is a great one. You will have to take the bottle flip challenge and compete against other players to complete difficult bottle flipping tasks. We all really enjoyed it, it’s a great one for a variety of ages.
Is It Fun:
Yes, we had a blast playing it. It’s a great game for a variety of ages. It’s challenging enough for older players and still a lot of fun and easy enough for younger players. It’s always a challenge to find a game that the entire family enjoys so I really like that this one suits the entire family. Makes for a great family game night or party game.
Gameplay is pretty simple. To set up the game add water to the bottle (to the fill line). Put the game board out in the middle of the playing area. Place the scorecard to the side out of the way so it will not interrupt gameplay. Each player needs to choose a color and place their game piece at the bottom of the scorecard. Place the deck of challenge card within reach of all players.
Each player will take turns trying to flip the bottle over the board. You are trying to flip it 360 degrees in the air and land on its bottom on the game board. If you are able to land the bottle you will take the top challenge card and read what it says. Some are individual challenges and some are for everyone. If you complete your card you will move the number of spaces designated. Continue playing until someone moves all the way up the scorecard to become the winner.
This game can get a little crazy with all that bottle flipping. Find a big space to play in and have everyone stand back from the play area. Other than that, it’s really fun and I don’t really have any concerns.
