This week for Family Game Night we are missing our 8-year-old again, she is off having fun with grandma so we decided to do a really fun card game for older kiddos and adults called Think ‘N Sync from Gamewright. It’s a lot of fun and you can see just how much you think like your partner. Full of laughs and fast-paced fun. We also decided to use our Mrs. Renfro’s BBQ sauce to make some yummy BBQ beef wraps.
Think ‘n Sync is all about trying to think like your partner. It’s a really fun party game that you can play with a small or large group. It requires you to come up with answers to different categories and try to match up with your partner. It’s really fun and full of laughs. It’s pretty easy to play and fast paced.
In the box you will find:
1 large deck of cards
Who Would Enjoy this Game:
Think ‘N Sync is designed for ages 12 and up and 3-8 players. It’s fun if you have older kids or adults. If you like to do game nights with teenagers or adults this is a great one for that. You can easily play it with a larger group so it makes a great game night game for a bigger group. It says up to 8 players but I don’t really see why there would be a limit on how many players I think you can easily play it with a larger group as well. The categories are fun and geared towards teens and adults. You can get some fun silly responses to the different topics on the cards which make it a lot of fun.
Is It Fun:
We had a lot of fun with it. We noticed that when my husband and I played together we always got all the answers right even on odd ones so it was interesting to see how much we think alike. We laughed a lot on some of the sillier responses. Our daughter decided it wasn’t fair though cause me and my husband think too much alike.
To set up the game just simply shuffle the cards and set them in the center of the table. Set the tokens next to the deck of cards so they can easily be reached by all the players. You will also need a pen and paper to keep track of the scores.
Decide who will be going first. You will draw a card the two people to your right will be the sync partners. On your turn read your card title out loud. Then you will read out the subcategories one by one. The two sync partners will respond with their answer to the subcategories at the same time. The reader will countdown 3..2…1 and then each syncer will respond together. If they match they each get 1 token equal to 1 point. At the end of the four subcategories count up the tokens and write down each partner’s points on the score paper. You will keep playing until everyone has been the reader two times. At the end, you will see who has the most points and that person is the winner.
No concerns on this one. It’s a lot of fun. Do watch the age range though it’s geared more towards adults and teens.

What Is Mrs. Renfro’s:
Mrs. Renfro’s is a great little company that sales amazing salsas, relishes and BBQ sauces. They taste homemade and fresh every single time. We love their products and have been using them for awhile. Whether you want some great salsa for your Mexican food nights or chips and salsa or if you want a great tasting BBQ sauce for grilling they have you covered.
They have a great line of products, they have something for everyone. We are not big on super hot salsa or spices so we stick to the milder stuff but if you like hot then they have that too. They even have ghost pepper sauces, whoa super hot! We recently got a great box from them with four of our favorites. Mild Salsa, Medium Salsa, Nacho Cheese Sauce, and Classic Barbecue Sauce. We had mexican themed the other night but tonight we wanted to have some yummy BBQ beef wraps. We made up our recipe that is pretty simple but tastes great.
BBQ Beef Wraps:
We just threw these together, it is our own creation but they tasted really good so I think we have a winner that we will keep making again and again.
Mrs. Renfro’s BBQ Sauce (we used classic but choose your favorite)
1 red Onion
1 package of flour tortillas
2 Cups of Shredded Cheese
1 bag of prepared beef steak for fajitas
In a large skillet saute up the beef steak with the onion until the onion is translucent.
Add the BBQ sauce and bring to a boil, reduce and cover for 5 minutes.
On a tortilla spread out a couple spoonfuls of your meat mixture (don’t overfill)Add a small handful of cheese (you can add as much or as little as you like).
Roll up and tuck in the sides.
Place in a single row on a cookie sheet and back at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until warm througout and cheese is melted.
