This week on family game night we had a blast playing a fun new game called Nibbled by Winning Moves. It’s a fun fast paced game, full of action, and perfect for younger kids because there is not reading involved. We also got to try out a fun new snack from Pepperidge Farm. They just announced their new Thin & Crispy line of cookies and they are super yummy.
Nibbled is a great new game by Winning Moves. Nibbled is an action game that gets everyone up and moving around. Lots of laughs with this one as you stick fishy all over the other players. The best part though is that anyone can play this game even young children so it’s a great game for the entire family.
In the box you will find:
16 Fishy (with sticker eyes)
1 deck of game cards
Who Would Enjoy This Game:
Nibbled is designed for ages 4 and up and designed to be played with 2-4 players. We all enjoyed the game from my eight year old to my teenagers. The game could easily be played for just about any age as long as they are able to name colors and clip on the fish. There is no reading involved so it makes it an easy game to play with younger kiddos.
Is It Fun:
We had a blast with this game. We really enjoyed clipping the fish all over ourselves and other players. As you can see the girls had a great time ganging up on dad. I love this man for being willing to look silly to make my kiddos laugh. There isn’t a lot of skill involved, it’s easy game play, and enjoyed by all so it’s a great game night game that you can play and have a lot of laughs.
Game play is really simple. When you first play the game you will need to put all the eye stickers on the fish. Depending on how many players there are in your game use the instructions to determine how many fish each player starts with. Then attach that number of fish (for a four player game it’s four) somewhere on your body (must be visible). Set the deck of cards in the middle of the table. Start with the oldest player. They will call out a color of fish (red, blue, purple, green, or yellow) then flip over the top card. If there is a fish that matches the color you called then you get to remove one of your fish and put it on another player. If there are multiple fish on the card that match the color you called you get to remove the number you match so if you call yellow and there are 2 yellow fish on the card you get to remove 2 of your fish and move them to any of the other players. There is one special card called a frenzy card. If that is drawn then call out feeding frenzy and every player gets to remove one of their fish and give it to another player but you can not put your fish on the person who drew the frenzy card. Play continues until one player has no fish left and they are named the winner.
I don’t have any concerns with this one. It’s fun and easy to play. It’s even easy for the younger kiddos.
