One of my favorites for Easter is the caramel yumminess from Goetze. Goetze’s Candy Company is a leading manufacturer of caramel products produced in the U.S. The fifth generation family-owned business has developed caramel and cream sweet treats for over 122 years. The business began in 1895 as the Baltimore Chewing Gum Company. August and William Goetze, began making confections in 1917. “Chuees” (Caramel Creams without the cream center) was developed out of the family’s kitchen, and soon after Caramel Creams were launched. The company dedicated production to Caramel Creams in the 1940s and renamed the business Goetze’s Candy Company.
Goetze’s has put together some adorable Easter-themed candy gift sets you can see here! Their candy is great for filling Easter baskets and Easter Eggs. Their caramel is unique because the main ingredient in Caramel Creams and Cow Tales is wheat flour, making them chewy, not sticky, when you eat them. A unique taste that’s not too overly sweet, you’re first hit with the taste of sweet cream, followed by delicious caramel. Both candies are nut-free as well. If you are looking for an awesome treat idea these are the best.
