Are you ready for Back to School yet? We are starting to get back into the hand of things but trying to enjoy the rest of our lazy summer. Once school starts it’s classes and activities and we will be busy every day. Now that my oldest is in high school and vo-tech half the day she has a ton to keep up with in class plus her activities after school and work schedule. So finding her a really detailed and well-designed planner was a must for her back to school shopping. When I started searching for planners I came across the Day Designer and we fell in love with it. Check out this video to see why we love it and what the inside looks like:
As you can see this planner has a lot of space to write and keep track of your schedule. It’s very detailed and has trackers for just about everything. I love the layout on this planner. Each day in an individual page in the planner (except the weekend) so you have an entire page to write out your schedule and to-do lists. I love this for my teenager because she likes to draw and decorate hers. So this gives her tons of space to write out her schedule but gives her ample room to also decorate, draw, and write quotes or journal.
They also have some additional trackers across the top and bottom so you can keep track of daily gratitude, make notes, plan your meals, and highlight your top three important tasks for the day. They even provide you with a daily quote which I think is a really nice touch. At the beginning of the planner, they have some great goal setting pages, reality checks on how you spend your time, and a place to plan out your weekly and daily schedules.
The planner has a tab for each month so you can easily flip to and find each month. If you plan ahead a lot this is a great feature because it makes it really easy to find the spot you need. When you flip to a new month it opens right to the monthly page so you can see the entire month at a glance.
Finally, I have to point out on this planner that I love the packaging that it comes in. They shipped it in a very pretty box that matched the color theme of the planner (teal and gold) and the planner set inside of a drawer box. So if you are gifting this planner it has some really nice packaging. You can ship it right to their door without having to ship to yourself and wrap it and then ship it to your loved one. The planners are very pretty, they have a bunch of different options. We choose this really pretty white marble but they have a ton to choose from so you can find the one that fits your personality. I do love the teal and gold color combination though which I wouldn’t have thought to put together.
The Day Designer planner is really well made. It comes with a double spiral binder so it won’t fall apart on you. The covers are hard covers so they are very sturdy and help keep the pages nice and neat. It’s very sturdy and will stand up well even if you are like me and use it all day everyday. It’s the perfect planner for back to school whether you are a mom who needs to keep track of all your kiddos schedules and yours or if you want to get it for an older child who has a lot to keep track of.
