Our family loves crafts so of course for Summer break we are doing some fun craft days. You might have read about our summer bucket list and one of the items on our list was craft days. We are marking those off each week with some really fun family craft days. This week we had some creative fun with Cutie Stix. These this jewelry makers are so much fun. You get everything you need in the starter set to create some really cute and fun necklaces and bracelets, nail decorations, and more. We had a blast creating our own original jewelry with it.
When you get the Cutie Stix start set you will get the cutter, the hole punch, the bracelet making set, the stand to store all your cutie stixs and accessories, and lots of cutie stix in all three sizes (mini, regular, and mega). You have everything you need to make lots of fun projects.
Using the kit is super easy. Choose your cutie stick, use the cutter to cut a slice of the cutie stix to make a jewelry bead, use the hole punch to put a hole through it, then use the jewelry making stand to make a bracelet or necklace, and enjoy. It’s super fun and super easy. You can use the minis and glue dots (included) to make nail art for your manicures. The possibilities are endless. And they have so many Cutie Stix to choose from.
The Cutie Stix set comes with a bunch of Cutie Stix to get you started. They also sale these great expansion packs as well. We got the animals, emojis, and treats packs. Each pack comes with more Cutie Stix in a fun theme, glue dots, thread and jewelry making pieces. So when you run out don’t fret just pick up an expansion pack.
All the pieces are safe and easy to use for kids. The cutter secures the blade inside the machine so your kids never come in contact with it. The hole punch is also secure inside of a machine so no worries about them catching their fingers in it. As a mom I always suggest doing these crafts with your kiddos under supervision but it is very safe for them to use.
It was lots of fun for the entire family. My 8 year old had a blast with it and just kept cutting out pieces over and over again. I think she had enough to make probably 10 pieces by the time she was done. My oldest had a lot of fun with it too though and she is 16. We love crafts and being crative so it was a lot of fun for both age ranges.
My 16 year old really liked making nail art with it. You can use the mini Cutie Stix and glue dots to make really adorable pieces to attach to your nails. They hold really well and they are a great way to add some style to your manicure.
The jewelry making stand is really easy to use. There is a long straw you can thread your pieces onto. Then simple cut your piece of string and slide it into the center of the straw. Tie on your jewelry making pieces on to the end to make a clasp. No long hours of threading beads onto a super tiny string. Just thread it through and pull the beads onto the string. It only takes about a minute to make your piece. It’s so fast and easy to use. The turn out so cute. You can even add some beads if you wanted to between your Cutie Stix to add some style to it.
With the animal Cutie Stix, you will notice that you have some mega Cutie Stix that are animal shapes and regular Cutie Stix that are paw prints. You can use the included pieces to hook them together to make these cute animal beads. They are really cute.
No matter what you want to create Cutie Stix make a really fun summer activity that the entire family can enjoy. It’s a great way to get the kids away from the tech and being creative. They can create lots of fun designs and they have everything they need all in one toy. Tons of Summer fun!
