In this world full of devices and the majority of our lives spent online in one way or another one of my biggest concerns is security. It seems like everything these days is hooked up to wifi and our home network. The television, our Echo Dot, phones, laptops, tablets, and even some of the kid’s toys. As a mom, I have so many worries about whether our network is secure and also if the kids are safe on the internet. I recently found this great product at Best Buy called Cujo. Cujo is an amazing smart firewall that gives us business level security in our own home network. Not only that it includes parental controls that help us keep our kids safe online.
Cujo has so many different benefits it’s hard to choose which is our favorite. We can secure our wifi in our home and guard all of our smart devices. We have protection for our financial information so we don’t have to worry about hackers or malware that might leave are information exposed. We can control everything from an app on our phone, so settings are easy to change and set up.
Some of my favorite settings though are the parental controls. I can limit social media and even ban sites I don’t want them to visit. I can keep an eye on their online activities and monitor them without even needing their device. I can set up limits on internet access on certain devices. So some of their toys they have that are hooked up to wifi I can limit if and when they can access the internet with it.
Cujo is a must-have to keep your home safe and secure in this online world we live in. I can rest easy knowing that if Cujo detects a threat it will block it and let me know. I can also feel assured that my kiddos are safe using the internet and that I can keep an eye on their online activities and set safe limits for them.
