I can not believe I am saying this but it’s almost time to go back to school. Where did the summer go? It went by so fast! Back to school time is both exciting and anxiety-filled for us. We love the excitement of getting back into a normal routine, meeting the new teachers, and this year starting a new school. All of the new changes can be fun and exciting for both the kiddos and the parents. For us though, there is some anxiety. My 9-year-old has ADD so she struggles at school with paying attention and memory. I always worry about who her teacher will be and if they will be easy to work with. Last year we were so lucky and she had an amazing teacher. Even though she won’t be her teacher this year I think it is important to continue to thank her for all the hard work she did with our daughter.
Teachers work so hard on a daily basis so anytime we can celebrate and thank them is a great way to show appreciation. I was super excited when we started our back to school shopping to find out that Crayola is hosting a great promotion this year called Thank a Teacher.
With thank a teacher your child can use Crayola products to create a thank you for their teacher. Simply log into their website here and upload your child’s thank you along with other information to nominate your favorite teacher. They are celebrating teachers with a great giveaway opportunity plus you get to thank your teacher!
Create and upload a teacher thank-you for a chance to win a $10,000 classroom makeover, $1,000 for you and your teacher and even have your thank-you note featured on a box of Crayola crayons!
My daughter sat down this weekend and made thank you cards for each of her favorite teachers. We used all of our favorite Crayola products to let her get creative. It was fun for her and a great way to say thank you her to her teachers.
We plan on delivering them to her teachers during back to school night with some home-made cookies. We will, of course, make sure to enter them at Crayola as well for a chance to win the big prize. Even if they don’t win though it will be a fun project to say thank you for all their hard work.
Make sure to enter your favorite teacher today for a chance to win!!
