We are huge fans of Disneynature programs. We love nature and learning about it. Born in China is their newest release and it’s now available on Blu-ray and DVD. It is an amazing movie full of adorable little babies from China. You will follow along with baby pandas, monkeys, leopards, and more. The images and filmography are just amazing, how they get these shots just blows my mind.
The film gives you an inside glimpse into the life of these amazing animals. We learned so much watching the film, my daughter loves animals so it was a really great film for her. I will also note that from a mom’s perspective, Born in China is really kid-friendly. We have seen some of their movies in the past that feature some animal fights and attacks that usually upset my kiddos but Born In China really limits these scenes and they are done well. So no worries if those scenes have you worried about seeing it.
Disney’s Born In China, narrated by John Krasinski, transports audiences to some of the world’s most extreme environments of China where few people have ever ventured to witness wildly intimate and adorable moments in the lives of three animal families – a doting panda bear mother, a 2-year-old golden snub-nosed monkey, and a mother snow leopard. It is the seventh theatrical release from Disneynature, which brings the world’s top nature filmmakers together to share wildlife stories that engage, inspire and educate. The breathtaking footage and high-definition quality picture is captivating for audiences of all ages and is a must-add to the in-home collection. Disneynature’s newest true-life adventure film “Born in China” journeys into homes on Digital and Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, Aug. 29.
