Moore Escape Rooms:
We have been wanting to try an escape room for a while now after friend told us they had a great time at an Escape Room in Kent. We had done a few at home and really enjoyed them and we love games and puzzles. Our teenager was begging to check them out so we decided to visit one for our birthday trip. If you are looking for a fun “teen” venue then an escape room is a great choice.
Moore Escape Rooms is a super fun place to visit. If you like puzzles you are going to love this immersive environment. Being able to be in the room, pick everything up and search for hints was so much fun. They have four different rooms to choose from including serum 42, the art of the heist, the tomb, and dinner for two. Each room has a different theme and involves different clues to solve puzzles so you can escape the room. We did the art of the heist room which was themed around an art museum heist that we had to complete to get out of the room. We can’t share any of the details about the puzzles (don’t want to ruin the surprise) but we were told it was the hardest room and we would have to agree that the difficulty level was pretty high and a lot of fun.
The rules are pretty simple. You look around the room to find clues and use the clues to solve the puzzles hidden around the room. Once you have solved the puzzles you will find a code that you enter at the door to unlock the room and escape. You get one hour to escape. They also allowed us three hints to use whenever we choose throughout the time in the room.
We had a blast at the venue. They were open late which was nice, we did our room at 10 pm on a Friday night, they had times available throughout the day though so you can easily fit your schedule. You can book online which was very convenient. We were really comfortable, they have a great waiting area to relax in before and after the game. They even had a fun photo op area with fun hashtag signs.
The room was a lot of fun, we were able to solve the room in time. I believe we had 15 minutes left on the clock when we got out. The room was tough though and we did use our hints. We were impressed with the difficulty level so if you are looking for a tough room to solve this one is great. It was a great birthday party idea for older kids. My kiddos loved it.
